House without air conditioning. Despite the host's reassurances, it was extremely hot and we could not sleep at night. The host provided us with only one fan for seven people, which obviously was of little use. The sofa bed (located in the kitchen) was very uncomfortable and old to sleep on, and the glass entrance door did not have screens or blackout curtains. The bathroom was outdated, with a PVC shower box. The structure, considering the requested costs, needs to be renovated to be rented to tourists.

We found ourselves quite well, the photos correspond to reality and it doesn't always happen. Casa Raffaele does not protrude onto the street but is reached by a driveway; a very quiet area, you can even leave Casa Raffaele and the car open.

All good except for the weather! From the arrival you feel comfortable, as if you were at your own home. Plenty of availability and many useful tips given by the owners. New, clean apartment located in the historic center of Leuca, from which you can easily reach all services on foot (bakery, tobacco shop, restaurants, supermarket, etc.) and perfect as a base for visiting Salento. We stayed at Casa Raffaele because it was recommended to us by some friends who had been there years ago. The house is quite spacious with outdoor spaces, parking with all necessary amenities, everything is very well-kept and spotlessly clean. The owners are very pleasant people and able to make you feel at home. The location is excellent, the beach is within walking distance as well as the shops and the center. I recommend it.
