Great location. The historic center begins at the end of the alley. In a few minutes on foot you reach the port from where you leave for the Egadi Islands. Also at the port the bus to San Vito lo Capo passes and from there you can take the boats to the Zingaro Reserve.
The location of the property is exceptional, on an alley that directly leads to the main street. It is also very close to the port for boarding to the Egadi Islands (about 7/8 minutes on foot). There is also a large paid parking (but cheap: €0.50 per hour from 8 am to 12 am) about 10 minutes on foot. The room has a kitchen with a refrigerator and wardrobe, and was very clean. The bathroom is a bit small but the shower is spacious. The room we had did not have a window but had air conditioning. Overall, it is recommended for the excellent location and great value for money.
I stayed at Cortile Antico for five nights. From the booking, the room was not as shown in the pictures. Moreover, there was no bidet, information not communicated by the manager. The room was not clean, neither was the bathroom, and the unusable dishes were very dirty. This is a structure in a strategic position, it should be much better taken care of! As for the manager, I only heard from him about the bidet issue, but I never met him in person. I'm sorry, but my review is very negative.
Clean, comfortable, and spacious property. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of fresh water and a bathroom kit. The manager is kind and willing to give advice on exploring the city and getting around without a car. I recommend it!
I booked this accommodation because it's located in the center and I needed space to park my motorcycle, but being in the historic center, it was barely possible to pass through the narrow alleys. Upon entering the apartment, I was speechless because the reality was very different from the photos on the websites. My partner wanted to leave. It's a shame we had already paid and were tired from the journey! I won't go into details because I don't want to prolong, but I wouldn't go back even for free and I absolutely do not recommend it.
We found the small apartment very clean. The major flaw, in our opinion, comes from the poor lighting: the light comes in from two small windows and from the French door that opens directly onto the Cortile Antico (under a portico). For the location, we rated 6 because the apartment, even though in the heart of the historic center, overlooks a small alley that is not particularly clean and with some difficulty in parking.
Maurizio is a very helpful person. The studio is comfortable, functional and clean. The only drawback: it is difficult to find parking in the area, both because the center is pedestrianized, and because the surrounding ones are all paid. A convention could be made with the Municipality.
Quiet courtyard a stone's throw from the most frequented streets of the city, as well as close to the large parking lot of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. The apartment (one bedroom with bathroom) is spacious for two even though the bathroom is quite dated and the mattress has a pronounced dip on one side (needs to be replaced).
Well-maintained apartment in the heart of Trapani equipped with everything needed for a short vacation. The owner's welcome is a strong point. Excellent stay.
One week stay, studio apartment complete with every service, excellent location, close to the sea, the port, and various bus stops. Kind and super helpful owner. Great stay.
Beautiful arabesque and flowery courtyard, with a slightly retro flavor. The structure is not brand new but very welcoming and comfortable. Great location, the manager is courteous.
Central location, close to everything, in a pedestrian area in the historic center, very lively in the evening, but secluded and quiet, close to the promenade but convenient to a cheap parking. Small apartments located in an ancient courtyard, charming and quiet that will make you relive the atmosphere of life in the woods of Trapani. We went to the fish market and were able to cook the freshest fish from Trapani fishing boats. Also recommended for the good value for money. The owner is available for any need.
The Cortile Antico is definitely welcoming and cool despite the strong heat. Some neighbors were playing music at 4/5 in the morning, waking us up promptly. Besides that, I loved the kindness and hospitality of the staff.
I booked an apartment after seeing the photos online: on the website, a spacious and large room with a large bathroom was advertised for 230 euros for 4 nights. Upon arrival, we paid the same amount but were accommodated in a very small room with an even smaller bathroom. Totally absent cleanliness: Found hair in the bathroom and a nail on the floor, not to mention a squashed fly on the wall. Equally absent cleaning during the 4 nights of stay. And an unpleasant smell despite leaving the window constantly open. Result: as soon as we arrived, we had to clean ourselves as the cleaning had not even been done. On top of that, the fridge was off on arrival and the air conditioner was present but disconnected. I wouldn't even come back for free.
Excellent location, excellent cleanliness, excellent assistance from the manager. For those like me who love cooking at home, the kitchen equipment was a bit scarce. It would have been convenient to also have a bike available, if I may express a wish.
Excellent property in the historic center of Trapani, welcoming and strategic for visiting the city. Welcoming manager who provided us with all the useful information for our stay.
Cortile Antico is a collection of apartments located in the center of Trapani. Very helpful, kind, and welcoming hosts. Clean apartment, valid quality-price ratio. I recommend it to everyone, if I happen to be in that area again, I will definitely return to Cortile Antico.
Excellent solution to visit Trapani on foot, you can leave the car in a not far parking lot. Spacious room. The courtyard is very pleasant, we used it for breakfast or for a bit of evening relaxation. The manager is friendly, nice, and discreet.
We had a nice weekend, amazing sea and great food in a restaurant on via Garibaldi, very close to the B&B. Definitely worth repeating and recommending.
We had a great time, clean as we expected. Very kind managers and collaborators, they satisfied every request of ours. The context of Cortile Antico is also beautiful.
The manager, after learning that we were two adults and two children, one 9 years old and the other 3, did not provide a single bed for the older child. We arrived in the middle of the night due to a sudden car issue, having traveled from Alessandria. In Rome, we rented another car after driving 1600 km. The manager was aware of our car incident after my morning call informing him that we would arrive at night. He left us the keys at the entrance, and upon entering the studio, we found only a double bed. After an exhausting journey and having paid, we slept 4 on a double bed. We called the manager who laughed at us over the phone saying he would see us the next morning. The studio smelled of mold, there was only a double bed, a real horror. The manager was not at all reasonable, and I am still waiting for the refund as we had to find another accommodation. I have never experienced such a situation after 1600 km, ending up with 4 people in one bed. Since the manager did not provide what was paid for, I demand a refund. Lastly, the manager did not even mention that the area is not accessible by car due to limited traffic.
I stayed at Cortile Antico for 4 nights. The location is optimal as it is located in the historic center, very close to the main street of ancient Trapani, and also very close to the sea and the port reachable in 10 minutes on foot. A few hundred meters from the structure there is also a large parking lot. The studio is quite cozy, clean, and functional. The only flaw found was the poor supply of essential products in the bathroom. Considering a 4-night stay for two people, the supply was barely enough for one day.
The B&B is located in a strategic position, very close to all the important areas of the city (Piazza Vittorio where there is parking for the car), the port, via Fardella, etc. From this point of view, it is very convenient. Among the negative aspects, I would say that an odor of dampness should be noted (being in July, this could be tolerated), the poor cleanliness of the bed change that was given to us, and the kitchen with rather dangerous current burners (induction plates would have been better and safer). The internal courtyard overlooking our studio was quite well-kept with useful tables for breakfast in the morning, which we took advantage of. However, it was a bit annoying that we were asked for money, even if just a few, for changing towels after 7 days of stay. In conclusion, a decent structure that with a few more attentions could become a place truly worth recommending without reservations. I hope the manager realizes that with a few improvements, the place can really aim to have a good level of structure.
Not worth repeating!\nI booked a two-room apartment that turned out to be a studio with a loft in the kitchen.\nThe sheets in the loft were musty. The double room had a high window used as an air vent.\nNo hairdryer in sight.\nThe shower had a dirty curtain replacing the missing glass and didn't prevent the bathroom from flooding.\nWhat can I say... Avoid the Cortile Antico.\nI forgot to mention, part of the stay was paid with the holiday bonus, but 70 euros per day is too much!
