Our holiday home is located in Cuirone fraction of Vergiate near Lake Maggiore and the lakes of the province of Varese.

Approximately 40 km from Milan and about 15 km from Malpensa airport. "Baubaus House" is a unique and unmistakable style, offering safe relaxation in a green setting.

It is an ideal location for families who want to find in the places of stay the comforts of their own home, for a holiday in a simple environment and discreet, for lovers of the silence of nature and tranquility away from the city.

We are available to our customers air conditioning, free wifi, kitchenette, a large terrace, washing machine. We can accommodate up to a maximum of 5 travelers and you can also take your four-legged friends with you, as long as we consented at the time of booking. We currently speak Italian, English, French.

Miranda was a wonderful host. She has a wonderful knowledge of the area and gave us lots of great advice about where to visit. The apartment is very unique, being originally a very old barn that has been very sympathetically renovated into the apartment, with an artist studio below that is full of good things to look at. The bed here was the most comfortable we slept in in Italy! For those who like to cook, there is everything you need, and there is a supermarket nearby. The little village of Cuirone is delightful. We love it. There is great pride in the village about what they have. Not being on a thoroughfare also makes this a very peaceful place. You will not hear much English spoken here, except at Cooperativa La Vittoriosa, where a couple of young women do a great job of running it. Be sure to eat here if you have the opportunity. Miranda has good English, so there was no problem there. We also loved meeting her friendly little dog Trullo. He is delightful. We will definitely return.

The apartment is fantastic, the landlady is very nice and very helpful. She ensures the desired privacy but is always approachable if you have questions. It is not possible to converse in German, only in English or Italian. Since you live in a village, you can hear more or less loudly the typical village noises such as arguing or talking neighbors and a lot of dog barking. You need a car there. The apartment is very individual and artistically decorated. However, this also means that there are many corners and niches that are very difficult to clean. It is not the right place for hygienists. There is no television. We had to get used to reading or playing games again in the evening. The sleeping option under the roof was romantic, but for nighttime bathroom trips, you had to be quite awake to avoid hitting your head. In conclusion: just right for individualists, something different for spoiled city dwellers, but recommended if you pay attention to my above comment. Dear Mrs. Ostini. You are great and we fondly remember you.

The accommodation is absolutely unique for the creativity and originality with which it was designed both outside and inside. The predominant use of wood makes the spaces particularly welcoming without sacrificing functionality. The stay is made even more pleasant by the environmental setting, which is mainly naturalistic and historic. But the real difference is due to the owner, who knows how to make you feel at ease with discreet attention and great knowledge of the area and territory. In short, I recommend using this property to spend a truly extraordinary vacation.

Unfortunately the position of the bed is not comfortable because the ceiling is too low and it is not possible to block out the light in the morning. The noise from the airplanes is very loud.

Ideal for nature and tranquility lovers. The structure is very close to the woods, offering the possibility of beautiful walks to Lake Comabbio. The house is comfortable despite being original. Excellent location compared to Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore. Baubaus House is located in a strategic position to explore the beauties of the surrounding lakes. The owner is very welcoming and helpful.

Here you can find tranquility but also stimulating stories. The structure is comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen area. The definition "unique in its kind" is very appropriate: every corner reveals the artist's touch! We recommend visiting the Spazio Giorgio Ostini accompanied by Mrs. Miranda. Cuirone is a small, quiet, and well-kept village, immersed in greenery with welcoming people.
