The Athena Resort Tourist Village is located on the southern coast of Ragusa, on a hill overlooking the sea, just 3 km from the village's private beach, between Scoglitti (km. 4) and Santa Croce Camerina (km. 12), with all the services that an international tourist village can offer included.
The Village is active and functional from April 13th to September 28th, with minimum services until mid-June, then being at the top from mid-June until mid-September and then decreasing until the end of September.
The tourist village in the summer period is the ideal place for adults, teenagers and children.
Those who come to stay with us enjoy access and use of the Olympic swimming pool with umbrellas and sun loungers included, access and use of the private beach with umbrellas and sun loungers included (you can go to the beach by your own means or private shuttles of the village, all included in the service), access and use of the mini club with indoor areas dedicated only for children including an infinity pool with shallow water, 2 outdoor play areas for children, 5 tennis courts, 2 11-a-side football pitches, 1 8-a-side football pitch and 1 five-a-side football pitch, a small gym, a mini golf pitch, table tennis tables, bazaar, tobacconist, parapharmacy, minimarket, 3 bars, 2 restaurants, 1 pizzeria, daytime entertainment both on the beach and in the pool, and in the evening in the large Amphitheatre in the Olympic swimming pool area it starts with baby dance, evening shows, group dances and music to follow...
The Village is located in a protected area, in the Reserve Naturale Orientata del Pino di Aleppo, ideal location to visit the 8 Late Baroque Cities UNESCO World Heritage of Val di Noto (a few kilometers from Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Noto, Avola, Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina), and we are in the center between the Greek cities of Syracuse Gela and Agrigento, we are also only 8 km from the Donnafugata Castle, 16 km from Punta Secca (Montalbano's house) and 4 km later there is Marina di Ragusa. Excellent location to relax in the middle of nature, for long weekends, or for romantic getaways away from prying eyes since we are in a very private and sparsely populated area. From October onwards there are no commercial and tourist activities, there is no activity, there are always available to guests, but without evening lighting, the football fields, the tennis courts, the 2 play areas for children and the mini golf course and within a radius of 4 km there are many free beaches of golden sand such as that of Scoglitti or that of the Randello reserve, where there is an equipped pine forest overlooking the beach.
Since we are 4 km away from the first small town of Scoglitti, you absolutely need a car to reach it if you need shopping or anything else. There are no connections between the village and the surrounding cities.
The houses:
We offer 3 private houses for holidays, fully furnished and equipped with all the comforts to live there very well both in winter and in summer.
Casavacanzekastalia 2 "La Rossa", Casavacanzekastalia 3 "La Blu", Casavacanzekastalia 4 "La Relax".
All the houses are located on the first floor and each house consists of
- double bedroom (the 2nd and 3rd have a large bed)
- bedroom with 2 single beds that can be joined if necessary (the 4th house has an additional bunk bed)
- living room kitchen with a double sofa bed.
- 1 bathroom
Of the 3 houses, House 2 "La Rossa" and House 3 "La Blu", are the best positioned within the village, they are located in the center between the hotel and the swimming pool, 2 steps away from the shuttle bus stop for the private beach, while the other house which is the most comfortable and beautiful of all, House 4 "La Relax" (a small villa) is further away from the central area of ??the village and for this small inconvenience in the tourist season we offer it at the same price as the other 2.
The house is rented in full therefore the price varies slightly if there are 2 rather than 6 or 7 (for the possible cost of the bed and bathroom sets), house 2 and 3 can accommodate up to 6 adults, while house 4 "La Relax" can accommodate up to 7 adults.
In the 3 houses nothing is missing, all the dishes and cutlery, all the appliances, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, fridge with freezer, toaster, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, espresso pod machines (the FROG), all the windows are equipped with mosquito nets, 2 air conditioners (1 in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom) and in houses 2 and 3 there are also dishwashers. In the bedrooms of houses 2 and 3 we have placed the double beds wider, so that, if there is a child sleeping with the parents it does not create any discomfort and rests quite comfortably. On the ground floor there is also a brick barbecue and an iron one for each house, while in the 4th "La Relax" on the ground floor there is also, in addition to the private parking, an outdoor shower, a covered area with gazebo where there is a table, chairs, barbecue and brick sink as well as 3 bikes available to guests.
All 3 houses, even if in the distance, have a sea view.
All houses are rented in a residence formula, excluding food and drinks, including utilities.
Binding condition (penalty - Non-acceptance of the reservation) : From the second week of June to the third week of September, the houses are rented only for weekly periods or multiples of a week with entry and exit on Saturday, while for all other periods of the year variable rental periods of more or less short are also accepted, obviously the longer the periods the more you save (for long periods, personalized estimates are made with any electricity costs to be considered separately). In any case, it is not possible to bring the residence. Only tourist rentals or for workers passing through are accepted.
The rates shown include n. 5 Club Cards that are needed from 1 June to 28 September to use the services offered by the village. The Club Cards are needed for all subjects aged 6 and over. From the sixth person onwards there is a supplement to pay of €. 50. 00 per stay.
Our homes are also perfect for long winter stays, for those who want to enjoy the sea and the heat of October/November, April/May, to relax in the middle of nature, or for those who want a base to visit the 8 Late Baroque Cities of the Val di Noto (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
