Borgo di Vichiaccio is a 18th Century’s farmhouse immersed in the vineyards of Chianti Classico, only 20 minutes away from Florence and 10 minutes away from Greve in Chianti and Impruneta, patiently restored to its ancient splendor and now available for those who seek homely and family like hospitality.

Here Massimo and Beatrice, owners of the Borgo di Vichiaccio, offer two of their houses for rent: the delightful Fienile (The Barn), surrounded by vineyards, and the larger apartment Sant’Angelo.

Both houses were restored respecting the contemporary building techniques, and provide a comfortable and carefully looked after environment.

Warm, informal hospitality and reasonable prices: you will find that everything at the Vichiaccio is at your disposal to make your holiday in the beautiful Tuscan countryside even more pleasant!
"Il Fienile"
Il Fienile is a 60 sqm flat based on an old cottage. It can accommodate up to four adults and two children, and it features a large garden which offers an incredible view of the Chianti’s vineyards
"Sant'Angelo"
Sant’Angelo is a 135 sqm flat in the main building of the farmhouse. It features five bedrooms, a large garden and a kitchen fitted with a fireplace, and it can accommodate up to 9 adults and 2 children.

Large farmhouse on a hill with beautiful vineyards. Great, relaxing location with amazing views. This house worked well for my disabled son as there are no stairs to enter the downstairs bedroom & bathroom. Highly recommended!

The property was just what I was looking for, a country home in the vineyards of Tuscany. It is rustic and charming, but very clean and had everything we needed. The host, Beatrice, was very helpful and kind. We were able to do laundry, which was wonderful.

Staying at Il Vichiaccio was the highlight of our honeymoon. The warmth and kindness shown to us by the family owners Bea and Massimo along with gorgeous vineyards, crackling fires, and amazing Toscano food just across the vineyard at Castello Gabianno - well, we were in heaven and wanted time to stand still. Bea chatted with us and guided us to wonderful little Tuscan towns in the hills. She is a very good natured soul and we were so happy to meet her and her husband Massimo. We would stay forever if we could. alas, we recommend this house with our highest compliments. We look forward to returning one day.

We stayed in December 2017, 3 families with children. Beautiful and very welcoming structure immersed in greenery, quiet, clean and large rooms furnished with taste. Fully equipped kitchen for 12 people. Nothing was missing, with a spectacular stove-height brazier. Mrs. Beatrice is very helpful and kind. I also recommend it for the price. I bought some meat in a butcher shop in the area called Agresti Spectacular.

One of the most enchanting places I've ever seen. Immersed in the tranquility of the beautiful Chianti landscape, it was a stop for me and my wife on a journey in search of relaxation. Rooms furnished with taste, courtesy, and a contagious smile are the main features that will strike you once you arrive at the structure. You won't miss the advice on places to visit that Bea and Massimo will be able to give with great generosity. We can't wait to go back for a slightly longer period. Thank you Bea, thank you Massimo.

Massimo and Beatrice, owners of Il Vichiaccio, are a young couple who shares the love for life in the countryside and for genuine things. Borgo del Vichiaccio is the fruit of a massive restoration work which, for more than 5 years, kept them busy carrying out all the necessary tasks: from the construction works to the fittings, from furniture restoration to the gardening work and from laying the foundations to cutting the woods Massimo, a part-time employee who enjoys motorcycling and good readings, and Beatrice, a fashion designer with a genuine love for books and music, share a passion for travelling and for the life in the outdoors. They both earn their living by working far from the countryside, but they still love spending there their evenings and every free moment, mostly enjoying the warmth of the fireplace in their old house. l Vichiaccio is the fulfilment of a lifetime’s dream, and Massimo and Beatrice, along with their children Matteo and Giulia, are particularly proud of it.
