Incanto del Trasimeno is a spacious and bright apartment in the heart of the historic centre of Castiglione del Lago, with panoramic views over Lake Trasimeno and a large private garden suspended above the ancient medieval walls — a secluded and silent space, perfect for breakfast outdoors or sunsets to remember.

On the second floor of a period building, the apartment offers all the comfort needed for a relaxing holiday: a welcoming living area with sofas and TV, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, coffee machine and everything you need to feel at home.

The three bedrooms — one double, one available as double or twin, and another with a double sofa bed — look out in different directions: towards the lake, towards Porta Fiorentina and towards the historic centre. The apartment sleeps up to six people with generous and comfortable spaces. Two bathrooms — a main bathroom with shower and a smaller second service bathroom, fully equipped with washbasin, toilet and bidet — air conditioning throughout and independent heating complete the amenities.

The entire historic centre is within walking distance: the medieval castle, the lakeside promenade, restaurants, wine bars, cafés and artisan shops are just a few minutes from the apartment.

Lake Trasimeno offers beaches, cycling routes, panoramic paths and the islands of Isola Maggiore and Isola Polvese, reachable by boat. Throughout the year the area comes alive with the “Festa del Tulipano” in spring and the “Luci sul Trasimeno” in winter, when the largest Christmas tree on water in the world transforms the lake into something magical.

Nearby, villages such as Panicale, Paciano and Città della Pieve still move at an authentic and unhurried pace. By car, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto and Orvieto towards Umbria, and Montepulciano, Pienza and the Val d’Orcia towards Tuscany are all reachable in less than an hour.

We manage this apartment with direct care and are always available for advice and suggestions: from the best restaurants to the lesser-known itineraries, from local events to the thermal baths in the area.

The apartment is located in the town centre, so it is very convenient for exploring the whole village and visiting the lake, and it has all the necessary amenities. The host was very kind and helpful. The only remark I would make, without detracting from the overall positive feedback, is that since it was December and therefore quite cold, and the apartment is inside an older building, we would have appreciated it being a bit warmer. The radiators were all off, so it took a few hours before it reached a temperature at which we could be without our jackets. But apart from this small note, we were satisfied.

I highly recommend it. The apartment is fully equipped for both couples and families with children. The location is excellent, right in the historic center. The owner is very kind and available. Everything is perfect.

We were welcomed by Roberto, who was very nice, and he showed us the apartment and also gave us some tips for parking and visiting the lake. The apartment is very nice, antique style and equipped with all comforts. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a dining room and a kitchen with everything, but really everything you need. It is a pity that we only stayed one night, but I would have gladly stayed a week. From the window, you can see the lake and the location is very convenient both for walking to the center and for parking. The owner, Mrs. Laura, is very nice and helpful via WhatsApp. It is an experience I can recommend to friends.

Structure on Porta Fiorentina, 30 meters from the central street where all the shops and restaurants are located. The building and the apartment are delightful, like going on vacation at grandmother's house, but with all the comforts (TV, air conditioning, double bathrooms and WIFI), fully equipped kitchen, spacious and with a beautiful lake view. Rustic living room with fireplace and lake view. Nothing to complain about cleanliness. The owner is very friendly and always available.
